In your .pdf, to be submitted on our dropbox by 1.12, make sure you have five sections, numbered as below, one for each part of the assignment.
1. Review the course design by visiting my Learning page as well as examples of great posts on Lots of WebWork
2. Revise or go the next step with you research topic, paying special attention to the use of reporting verbs and the “they say / I say format (previous posts on this page).
3. Clean up your the website: add a tag cloud (everyone tags their posts); use the “more” tag, take out the search widgets, add “recent posts” widget.
4. Write up with screenshot a discussion of the one most important thing you learned about SQL (explain how you did it, what the logic and significance, how it applies to real life). Here, as below, your task is to “find your way:” instead of memorizing 20 (abstract) terms, identify what you have learned.
5. Write up your notes on Davenport, “Coming Commoditization of Processes.” As we discussed in class, read for specific information (what is a process? what is commoditization? what is “coming” (history)). Write up an account that makes sense to you, and if you don’t have a better way, make a screen shot of the diagram on the fourth page and explain everything as it relates to that image.
